Remember the judge who requested that Apple apologize to Samsung on the front page of its website last year? Guess what? He's working for Samsung now, and you can bet this is going to get the Internet ablaze with fanboy comments from all angles.
Patent law expert Florian Mueller, claimed that The Rt. Hon. Professor Sir Robin Jacob, the judge who forced Apple to apologize to Samsung, is now an employee for that very same company. Samsung hired Jacob as a patent law expert in its ongoing battle with Ericsson — but don't jump for your pitchforks yet, because he's not breaking the law.
It is well within Jacob's right to work for Samsung despite his ruling in the Korean giant's favor last year. While such a move might seem fishy to some, there is nothing inherently wrong with it, despite the fact that many may contend Samsung paid off Jacob to rule in its favor.
