The BlackBerry Z10 saw several price cuts since its launch and now it's available for just $19.99, complete with a free case.
The offer is for the Verizon version of the smartphone and the price is, as expected, associated with a two-year contract.
The BlackBerry Z10 is the company's current flagship and was the first smartphone to launch on the new BlackBerry 10 (BB10) platform. It's a high-end handset with several neat features, including a software keyboard that has been praised for its accuracy.
The Verizon BlackBerry Z10 costs $99.99 on a two-year contract if you purchase it directly from Verizon, but WireFly now has a more enticing offer. The retailer is offering the same smartphone on the same two-year contract, but with a very big difference: the price tag is just $19.99 and there's a free case with every purchase. The case comes in white and includes a kickstand.
For those unfamiliar with the handset, the BlackBerry Z10 sports a 4.2-inch IPS display with a 1280 x 768 resolution and a pixel density of 356 pixels per inch (ppi). Despite BlackBerry's famous affinity for QWERTY keyboards, the Z10 has a full-touch display. Other specs include Adreno 225 graphics, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage expandable up to 64GB via micro SD, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera and a 2-megapixel front shooter.
In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports Wi0Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC and A-GPS with geo-tagging. The handset also packs a 1,800 mAh battery.
BlackBerry placed all its bets on its BB10 OS and smartphones, but it seems that things didn't work out quite how the company hoped. BB10 smartphones did not exactly fly off the shelves and the BlackBerry Z10 already saw several price cuts since it made its debut. It's a high-end smartphone with plenty of great features, but consumers are more drawn to Android and iOS devices rather than BlackBerry.
With the new $19.99 price tag from WireFly, however, more consumers may be tempted to try out the BlackBerry Z10. Those interested in this offer can get the Verizon BlackBerry Z10 from WireFly at this link. The retailer is also offering free shipping.
