While third-party retailers are currently offering the handset for fixed prices, Sony Mobile is running a bunch of promotions for pre-order customers, depending on region.

According to the Xperia Blog, the UK is the only country to offer customers a free Sony Smartwatch 2 along with pre-orders for the Xperia Z1 Compact. In several other countries, the company is reportedly offering a free Sony Wireless Headset DR-BTN200M for an extra €1. The Netherlands apparently has is worst, with no promotions in place and the highest price for the device, as the Xperia Z1 Compact sells for €549 in the country.

In France, the smartphone costs €549 as well, but pre-order customers will get a refund of €50.

In Germany the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact sells for €499, while a promotion offers a Sony Wireless Headset DR-BTN200M for just €1 when pre-ordering the handset. Italy has the exact same deal in place.

Poland has the Sony Xperia Z1 Compact priced at PLN 1,999 and Sony Mobile is offering the same Sony Wireless Headset DR-BTN200M for PLN1 when you pre-order the smartphone.

Spain gets the same high price for the Xperia Z1 Compact as the Netherlands and France, i.e. €549, but it does get the aforementioned headset for €1. Sweden has the smartphone priced at SEK 4,695, with a similar promotion offering the Sony Wireless Headset DR-BTN200M for SEK 1.

Lastly, the best deal is currently in place for UK customers, as Sony Mobile is selling the Xperia Z1 Compact for £449 and offering a free Sony Smartwatch 2 with each pre-order.
