The police procedural "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" ("Law & Order: SVU") will soon feature "Rookie Blue" alum Missy Peregrym and "Rizzoli & Isles" vet Jordan Bridges. The upcoming episode of Season 18 of the show, titled "Net Worth," is slated to air in April.

According to TV Line, Missy Peregrym will guest-star in the episode called "Net Worth" "as a top-tier investment banker who accuses her billionaire client of rape. The client will be portrayed by Tate Donovan ("Damages"). Meanwhile, Jordan Bridges will "play the supervisor of Peregym's character."

Bridges' character might be "someone who could potentially be in a very difficult spot." As the supervisor of Peregrym's character, it is expected that he does "the right thing and support his fellow employee." Still "whether or not he does remains to be seen" especially since we now live in a "brutal world and money often talks louder than anything else."

This is Peregrym's second foray into a police procedural. The actress previously portrayed Bridget, Danny William's (played by Scott Caan) sister in the show "Hawaii Five-0", per CarterMatt.

"Net Worth" will is Bridges' second appearance on a "Law & Order" show. The actor previously guest-starred in "Law & Order: Criminal Intent."

"Law & Order: SVU" continues to tackle socially relevant issues in the show's eighteenth season. Upcoming episodes of the show will reportedly focus "on a number of other important issues, including youth hazing in organized sports."

While "Law & Order: SVU" hasn't been signed on for Season 19 yet, the show's future is bright since its ratings are positive. The police procedural also has a "tremendous pop-culture impact," and this could point to a "yes" for the show's renewal. "Law & Order: SVU" airs every Wednesday at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
