Alexandra BurlacuNokia is due to unveil new handsets at Microsoft's BUILD 2014 conference this week and the much-touted Lumia 630 has now leaked in a video.
Microsoft is widely expected to take the wraps off the latest version of its operating system, Windows Phone 8.1, at its BUILD 2014 conference, and Nokia is due to unveil new handsets rocking the latest OS version. The highest bets are on the Nokia Lumia 630 and Lumia 930 smartphones, and now we have more information regarding the mid-ranger.
The Nokia Lumia 630 has leaked on several occasions so far, revealing its main specifications, as well as its design, and now it has been caught on camera. The newly-leaked video comes from YouTube account Windows Phone Lovers and shows the purported Nokia Lumia 630 running the highly-anticipated Windows Phone 8.1, giving us a look at the new Action Center, as well as some of the other features that will come along with the new software.
Previous reports have revealed that the Nokia Lumia 630 will launch with a 4.5-inch display with a modest resolution of 854 x 400 pixels and pack a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor under the hood, coupled with 1GB of RAM. The smartphone will reportedly be available in both single- and dual-SIM variants, which, if true, would make it the very first Windows Phone with dual-SIM support.
The Nokia Lumia 630 is also expected to come in a range of colorful options, in line with Nokia's Lumia lineup. Such color options reportedly include black, white, yellow, green, and orange.
No pricing details are currently available for the Nokia Lumia 630 Windows Phone 8.1 smartphone, but the alleged specifications suggest that it will launch as a mid-range offering with a budget-friendly price tag.
Nokia has already confirmed that it will be holding a Windows Phone event on Wednesday, April 2, which is the first day of Microsoft's BUILD 2014 conference. The Nokia Lumia 630 should make its official debut at that event, which means that we'll soon know all there is to know about it straight from the source. In the meantime, check out the video below to get a better idea of what to expect.
