With Christmas just a couple of weeks away, retailers are getting into the holiday spirit with neat new offers and Best Buy is no exception. Amid a number of attractive offers, the Verizon Droid Turbo promotion is worth taking into account.
The Motorola Droid Turbo is one of the hottest devices that launched in 2014, boasting impressive specs and features all around. The smartphone launched a while back as a Verizon Wireless exclusive, stirring lots of interest among smartphone fans.
As a reminder, the Motorola Droid Turbo boasts a 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, while under the hood it packs a powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 quad-core processor clocked at 2.7GHz, Adreno 420 graphics, and a hefty 3GB of RAM.
Other specs of the Verizon Droid Turbo include 32GB or 64GB of internal storage capacity, a 21-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front shooter, and a 3,900 mAh battery that promises to last for at least 48 hours on a single charge. Connectivity options consist of 4G LTE with XLTE support, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and MicroUSB. In terms of software, the handset runs Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box, but should receive an update to the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop soon.
The Motorola Droid Turbo is available for $199.99 from Best Buy when agreeing to sign a two-year service agreement with Verizon Wireless, and interested buyers will also get an attractive gift card from the retailer.
More specifically, those who purchase the handset as new customers with Verizon Wireless will receive a $150 gift card, while existing Verizon Wireless and Verizon EDGE customers will get a $100 gift card with the smartphone purchase. The handset is available in blue, black, and metallic black color options, with the blue avatar exclusive to Best Buy. Interested customers can also purchase the smartphone off-contract for $649 - $699, depending on color.
