Acer Liquid Z410 4G smartphone debuts ahead of CES 2015, sports affordable price tag
Alexandra BurlacuWith CES 2015 just around the corner, several manufacturers have already starting to announce new devices and Acer just unveiled its new Liquid Z410 4G smartphone.
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015 is one of the biggest tech events of the year and a slew of impressive new devices are expected to make their debut at the show. As always, some companies don't wait for the show itself to kick off, announcing some of their new devices at separate events ahead of CES.
Acer has already made several exciting announcements ahead of CES 2015, including its latest Acer Liquid Z410 smartphone that aims to offer 4G LTE connectivity on a budget.
"With the Liquid Z410, Acer makes speed and power available to all. Featuring an ultra-performant 64-bits quad-core processor, and supporting 4G LTE (Cat. 4) connectivity for fast browsing, streaming and downloading almost anywhere in the world, this smartphone enables fast task management and clears calls at all times," Acer touted in a press release on Saturday, Jan. 3.
The new Acer Liquid Z410 sports a 4.5-inch IPS display with a qHD resolution and a pixel density of 245 pixels per inch (ppi), and packs a MediaTek MT6732 processor under the hood, paired with ARM Mali-T760 graphics. The company also touts an impressive battery performance, as well as a neat design that allows for easy one-handed operation. Moreover, a special key will allow for one-touch access to various customizable actions.
"Thanks to its powerful Mali-760 graphic chip, the Liquid Z410 additionally promises high-quality visuals and a seamless graphic performance, securing a smooth user-interface experience. Because Acer knows a smartphone is your daily envoy, the Liquid Z410's battery will last for up to 5.5 hours of talk-time, or 400 hours in standby. Positioned right under the camera and encircled by an elegant textile pattern, the AcerRAPID key allows users to access a rich set of customizable actions with one touch. Easily operated by either hand, AcerRAPID is designed to add speed, flexibility and personalization to the user experience."
Other specs of the new Acer Liquid Z410 include a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, as well as a 2-megapixel front shooter.
The Acer Liquid Z410 will make its commercial debut in EMEA from end-February and will be available at a starting price of €129. The smartphone will also be on display at CES 2015.
