A week after launching its new Blade D Lux smartphone, ZTE has unveiled another device, this time under its "Prague" series. The latest from the Chinese phone maker is named the Nubia Prague S.
This latest mobile phone for the Prague series is a dual-SIM-capable smartphone that is supporting one micro-SIM and one nano-SIM. It will be running Android 5.1 Lollipop, which is coupled with Nubia 3.0 skin. It is powered by a nonremovable Li-ion 2200mAh battery, which is said to charge the device from 0 to 25 per cent in just ten minutes with a fast-charging technology.
Nubia Prague S will be running on a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and a 3GB LPDDR3 RAM. It has an internal storage of 64GB, which is expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card. It will also have a 5.2-inch full HD screen with a 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The handset has a Super Amoled OGS 2.5D display that has a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.
The latest Prague phone sports a 13-megapixel rear shooter with phase detection autofocus, f/2.2 aperture, 5P Lens and an LED flash. Meanwhile, the front shooter is 8 megapixels with f/2.4 aperture and wide angle lens. Both its cameras run on ZTE's native NeoVision 5.2 Camera UI. The device moreover supports 4G LTE, Bluetooth, WI-Fi, GPS and microUSB in terms of connectivity.
The metal-clad mobile phone has a slim build with a dimension of 148.2 x 72.5 x 6.8mm and weighs 135g. The most noticeable improvement that this latest phone under the Prague series has is the iris scanner. It also has Nubia's FiT tech on board, which enables users to operate the smartphone with touch-sensitive edges.
This smartphone announced by ZTE through its Weibo account will be available in two colour variants, silver and rose gold. It is now available for preorders in China for ¥2,399 CNY or $365 USD or ¥3,499 CNY or $380 USD, depending on the supported cellular connectivity it has. The phone will also start shipping by Saturday.
