The latest Nexus 7 2016 vs. Galaxy Tab S3 speculations suggested that both the upcoming devices are expected to provide you with some excellent specs like Snapdragon chipset, Exynos processor, two variant with huge internal storage, huge display, and much more. However, the Samsung tablet might prove as the budget-friendly option, whereas the Google device is expected to be the high-end variant.

This report is intended to highlight all the rumored specs and features of the Samsung and the Google devices to help you to choose the best buy option once they are launched in the upcoming months.

To begin with, the Nexus 7 2016 is expected to be launched in two variants with new names, the Pixel and Pixel XL, with similar chassis like that of its predecessor. On the other hand, even the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 might be released in two variants of different screen sizes and a curved-edged chassis.

In terms of display, the Nexus device will consist of a 7-inch screen with a Quad AMOLED display panel. It is also reported that the Nexus Pixel will have 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution; whereas the Pixel XL will have a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution. While the Galaxy Tab S3 will sport 8-inch and 9.7-inch screens with AMOLED panel and 4K resolution onboard.

As far as the performance-related specs are concerned, the Google device is rumored to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset along with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to sport an octa-core Exynos 8890 processor with a 4 GB Ram and two internal storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB.

Furthermore, the Nexus 7 2016 will consist of a 13-megapixel rear camera whereas the Galaxy Tab S3 will feature an 8-megapixel rear and a 2-megapixel front camera. However, there is no information available about the Google device's front camera specs.

When it comes to battery specs, the Google Nexus 7 2016 is rumored to outshine t with 5100 mAh battery capacity as compared to the 8-inch Galaxy Tab S3's 4000 mAh battery. However, reports hinted that the 9.7-inch variant of the Samsung device might be launched with a larger 5870 mAh battery unit.

Also, both the devices are expected to provide the users with the support for USB Type-C connectivity, for faster data transfers and charging. In terms of software specs, the Galaxy Tab S3 will run on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system with planned upgrade to the Android Nougat OS. However, the Nexus 7 2016 will be launched with the Android 7.0 Nougat operating system onboard.

Lastly, the Galaxy Tab S3 is expected to be priced around $420, while the Google Nexus 7 2016 is rumored to be made available at a higher cost.
