The flagship smartphone of Xiaomi Mi5 with heavy specs and features will battle it out today with Oppo F1s, which has beaten Apple iPhone 7 in selfie camera.

The Oppo F1s (5.5-inch ) screen is slightly bigger than Mi5 (5.15-inch). However, the resolution of Mi5 is better than Oppo F1s. Both smartphones offers protection by Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on its display.
Both features a tweaked version of Android OS, Oppo F1s have ColorOS 3.0, based on Android 5.1 while Mi 5 runs on Android 6.0 based MIUI v7.0. Mi 5 have Adreno 530 GPU while Oppo F1s have Mali T860.
In terms of processor, the selfie expert Oppo F1s is powered by an octa-core Mediatek MT6750 clocking at 1.5 GHz. While Mi 5 takes the lead with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset with 1.8 GHz Kryo Quad core processor. Meanwhile, Mi5 Pro edition comes with 2.15 GHz Kryo Quad Core processor.
Oppo F1s offers 32 GB inbuilt storage with 3GB of RAM. It offers dedicated microSD card support up to 256GB. Whereas, Xiaomi comes with 32GB and 64GB model in-built storage having 3GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage having 4GB RAM . Mi5 doesn't offer expandable memory feature.
Xiaomi Mi 5 features a 16MP Sony IMX298 main camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, OIS, dual-LED (dual tone) flash, 1/2.8" sensor size and 1.12 µm pixel size, and a 4MP front-snapper with f/2.0 aperture, 1/3" sensor size and 2µm pixel size.
Oppo gets interesting in the camera department, where the front shooter actually boasts a higher-res sensor with a 16MP imager mated with an f/2.0 lens. On the back, you have a 13MP camera with LED flash.
Oppo F1s comes with 3075 mAh non-removable battery while Xiaomi improves the charging speed with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology and 3,000mAh.
The price of Mi5 is slightly higher than the Oppo F1s. While Oppo seems to have an edge with large screen, sleek and bezel finish design and a great selfie camera, Mi5 can win the market with better performance and features. However, 'Selfie lovers' are going to love Oppo F1s.
