Ubisoft's forthcoming action-adventure, the open world stealth game "Assassin's Creed 3" is set to portray real-life icons in the game as "realistically" as possible, say recent reports. Alex Hutchinson, creative director on “Assassin's Creed 3,” has revealed how this will be one of the main goals of the game.

In a recent interview with Penny Arcade, Hutchinson has discussed how the developers always ensured that the people who were assassinated in real life are actually killed in the game as well. He said that the goal is to make sure that they are real people who die in "Assassin's Creed" at the same place and time as they did in real life.
As an example, Hutchinson took up the topic of Benjamin Franklin who will be featured in the game. Although Franklin is known to be a strong supporter of American values, he also had his flaws like any other normal human being in real life.
"We went with the more unusual sides of him. Like his love of women," Hutchinson told Penny Arcade. "He said that women dry out, but they dry out from the top down, and therefore the bits that you need never dry out. I know we're going to get [complaints], but this is all public record."
Penny Arcade, on their part, took this opportunity to look at Franklin's actual quote and what they found was truly astonishing. The actual quote reads: "Because in every Animal that walks upright, the Deficiency of the Fluids that fill the Muscles appears first in the highest Part: The Face first grows lank and wrinkled; then the Neck; then the Breast and Arms; the lower Parts continuing to the last as plump as ever."
Franklin further says: "So that covering all above with a Basket, and regarding only what is below the Girdle, it is impossible of two Women to know an old from a young one. And as in the dark all Cats are grey, the Pleasure of corporal Enjoyment with an old Woman is at least equal, and frequently superior, every Knack being by Practice capable of Improvement."
“Assassin's Creed 3” will be set during the American Revolution and feature a new central character, Connor Kenway, whose birth name is Ratohnhake:ton. The game will arrive on October 30 this year on PlayStation 3, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Xbox 360 and Wii U.
