Bungie may be gearing up for a huge announcement about "Destiny 2" at this year's Playstation Experience.

Speaking on its official Bungie website, the developer said that the team will be making its way to the annual Playstation event in December, dropping a subtle hint on what to expect.

"Next week, Thanksgiving will be visited upon our shores," the post, which was published on Nov. 17, reads. "There will still be blog fodder for your reading eyes. Intelligence reports it will be random and light.

"The week after, we'll be packing our bags for Anaheim, CA," the team said. "The particulars of our mission are still a mystery. We'll cross that finish line soon."

It is a pretty vague hint, to say the least, but according to The Wolf Hall, Bungie may have just hinted at a possible announcement for its upcoming sequel for "Destiny."

It is also speculated that Bungie will reveal something related to "Destiny 2" at The Game Awards, although that rumor is bit too far off the mark, since Bungie was not included in any of the nominations. Still, it is interesting to find out if Bungie will say something about "Destiny 2" during the event.

In other news, Activision and Bungie claimed that they are currently aiming to widen the franchise's audience with its upcoming sequel.

"We're on track and excited about what we think is going to be an awesome sequel for Destiny in 2017, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg said during its financial briefing earlier this month. "The sequel is designed to excite both our highly engaged current players, but also to broaden the appeal even further, bringing in new fans and bringing back old fans as well."

The CEO has also addressed the issue about "Destiny"s slow content update, and confirmed that both companies will be working on improving this.

"Going forward along with our partners at Bungie, have put together what we believe is a very smart approach that will allow us to deliver the steady stream of great content to keep our players engaged and keep our universe alive and growing in the wake of that sequel," Hirshberg assured.

Playstation Experience will happen on Dec. 3 and 4. Will we hear any new "Destiny 2" stuff from Bungie? Stay tuned for updates.
