LG flaunted the adoption of the latest Android OS with the release of its flagship device LG V20 powered by Android 7.0 Nougat OS. However, there are other LG smartphones like LG G4, V10, G3, and K10 which are yet to receive the Nougat update. Let's find out the probable release date.

Android 7.0 Nougat was recently announced by the US Cellular to have begun rolling out on the LG G5 handsets. However, we came across a report, where LG G3 was spotted on GeekBench with Android 7.0 Nougat, which leads to speculations that the two-year old phone will also get latest Android OS.

As per the rumors, LG G3 along with LG V10, G4 and K10 could receive Android 7.0 Nougat update in February 2017.

Coming to the latest features of Android 7.0, we can see an array of improvements. It definitely gives a reason to Android phone owners to wait for a software update.

The Nougat OS will bring multi-window view, virtual reality (VR) mode, better battery performance and more. It also comes with an advanced version of Doze battery saver.

Android says "Now you can switch between apps with a double tap, and run two apps side by side. So go ahead and watch a movie while texting, or read a recipe with your timer open. Vulkan API is a game changer with high-performance 3D graphics. On supported devices, see apps leap to life with sharper graphics and eye-candy effects."

Android 7.0 Nougat also comes with powerful layers of encryption and security that keep personal data out of reach of hackers.

With so much to offer, LG smartphones owners are growing impatient about the Nougat release date. Surprisingly, we are yet to see a beta-testing version of Android 7.0 Nougat for LG devices. Stay tuned for further updates.
