Pokemon Sun And Moon: Getting Your Hands On All Rare Fishing Pokemon [VIDEO]
Vinay PatelAvid Pokemon Sun and Moon players are going berserk over capturing some very rare Pokemon in the game; however, getting your hands on these coveted creatures could be quite a backbreaking task. Thankfully, the internet is brimming with Pokemon Sun and Moon tips and tricks to make the laborious task of catching rare Pokemon a little less burdensome.
Let's take a look at some Pokemon Sun and Moon tips and tricks to catch specific Pokemon i.e. rare fishing Pokemon in the game.
Knowing The Location Is The Key
It is imperative for you to know exactly where these fishing Pokemon spawn. However, it is also equally important to not head onto the location without first planning the technique you intend to use for capturing these rare Pokemon. Although you can reset your hunt in case you fail to catch the desired creature, it will still consume a lot of time. Let's check out a few fishing Pokemon and where they can be found:
Mareanie
It is the easiest Pokemon to get your hands on in Pokemon Sun and Moon. To add Mareanie in your Pokedex, you first need to capture different rare Pokemon. Laying hold of Mareanie is comparable to catching a ghost as it rarely makes an appearance. Ideally, you are likely to bump into Mareanie during an S.O.S battle with Corsola, according to Twinfinite.
Dhelmise
After checking the map, head directly to Poni Island in order to capture Dhelimise. Once you are on Poni Island, visit the fishing town and on the first boat, you will see a spot and that's where Dhelmise will spawn. Under normal circumstances, you will be able to capture Dhelmise after three encounters. To avoid resetting your fishing spot, simply go closer to the door. This will refresh the fishing spot.
Relicanth
This species of Pokemon have survived for a hundred millions of years. Some Pokemon Sun and Moon players do not consider Relicanth advantageous; however, for those who want to get their hands on this timeworn Pokemon, you can find them in Poni Island, just close to the seashore where there is a cave-like structure.
Sharpedo
Multiple reports deem Sharpedo as a common Pokemon. Nonetheless, you can resort to Pokemon Sun and Moon tips and tricks to acquire it. First, leave the fishing town and fly to Poni Breaker Coast. Once you are there, go up to the Ruins of Hope where you will see a couple of small posts and a body of water on the side. This is where you are likely to encounter Sharpedo, but it takes 14 tries before you get ahold of the character, according to a video posted by YouTube channel PixPlays - Pokemon & More!
Dratini
To catch Dratini, head to Poni plains and then go to Poni meadow. To your right, you will see a tiny pond and this is where you should be able to capture it. In case you do not succeed at catching the critter and want to reset, you will need to return to the entrance of Poni.
