A Twitter Dispute Between Pakistan And Israel Arising From FAKE News!

Jomst C.

As of any part of history, fake and made up news articles has always had a very bad consequence attached to it, nevertheless, it is now very clear that it is real and genuine in a larger scale which now involves two countries in heat. After a release of a fake news that states that Israel was threatening to release nuclear weapons to Pakistan if Pakistan will send army troops to go into Syria. In retaliation, Khawaja M. Asif, the Ministry of Defense Minister for Pakistan, cautioned Israel that Pakistan, his country, could exact retribution with the country's nuclear capability if the scenario arises

. At a later time, the defense Minister retro-ceded by stating that Pakistan is a peaceful country and that his country only has nukes as a "deterrence to protect our freedom," but the statement was released only after the Ministry of Defense of Israel noted that the offending statement from the news (associated to the past Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon) is nonexistent.

Most part of the load for the blunder was blamed on the Minister of Defense of Pakistan. It would be thought of that a major figure in politics will be very selective, critical and be very doubtful of news sources, and will definitely think things through and twice before releasing statements on social media platforms implying on the use of weapons that could lead to mass murder.

Although, this defines and is a good example how important it is to fight fake news, may it be downplaying its presence, blocking it or depriving it of ad revenue. Even if a person is in a significant position in a state of power does not equate that the person can be misled by fictional piece that may seem look possible, being analytical or just by simply checking the facts first can majorly prevent such incidents in politics from future occurrence.
