With that in mind, here are what to expect from the upcoming Las Vegas showcase.
The Verge reports that it has been preparing for the tech show for quite a while and conducted of what will most likely be on the spotlight of the said event. The publication also stated that the best products are that the least expected to be featured at the Las Vegas event.
TVs are one of the highlight reels at the CES event and there are no shortage of tech companies that features the home appliance. With a number of companies like Samsung, LG, Sony and Panasonic present at the tech showcase to show off their advance TV screens and it's highly likely that consumers will see an Ultra HD feature from one of the companies at the show.
Apple launched iPhone 7 last year without the 3.5mm headphone jack feature. So, it is highly likely that wireless headphones will come to an abundance with this year's Las Vegas tech show.
Millions of iOS devices are being sold daily without a proper wireless earbuds. This expands wireless headphones' seller and manufacturer's opportunity to showcase the new earbuds to the upcoming tech show.
Meanwhile, the report also stated that self-driving cars will steal the show, making the conference hall filled with automakers. The thought of self-driving cars has been in the minds of consumers since people have seen it in the movies. Thus, automakers will be a step closer in making the dream into a reality at this year's upcoming showcase.
CNet further reports that more gadgets will be featured at the said tech show such as drones, Smart Home tech, artificial intelligence and virtual reality products. The Verge will be one of the many news outlets that will have live week long coverage for the CES 2017 that will officially start on Thursday, January 5.
