MSI announced ten new motherboards based on Intel's 200-series chipsets aimed towards gamers. All ten motherboards are slated to release on January 5, but no word on pricing has been detailed by the company yet.

MSI's Z270 flagship, the XPower Gaming Titanium, has four-steel reinforced PCI-E x16 slots intended to support up to a four-way SLI or crossfire multi-GPU configuration. The board's RAM slots are also steel reinforced, which can support RAM XMP profiles that operate at up to 4,122MHz.

The company has not revealed what audio codec the flagship motherboard supports, but it does work with MSI's Nahimic 2 and Audio Boost 4 audio technologies. The Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium also comes with an EMI shielding to lessen noise.

Additionally, MSI's flagship product has a USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-A and Type-C ports, three M.2 Key M ports and two Intel Gigabit NICs. The Z270 XPower Gaming Titanium is the only 200-series motherboard that uses two NICs on as of the moment, Tom's Hardware reported.

Another star in MSI's line of new motherboards is the Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC, which is also a steel reinforced compact board. This board's RAM slots and PCI-E are also steel reinforced and support the company's Mystic Light RGB LED tool. MSI gave this motherboard a dual-band Intel 8264 802.11ac NIC for easy internet access. According to the MSI press release via Tweak Town, the Z270I Gaming Pro Carbon AC supports four SATA-III ports and a single M.2 Key M slot.

The new MSI Performance Gaming motherboards are fully loaded with personalization and performance tools. With its unlimited customization options, the new line of motherboards "let you game in style," according to MSI itself.

Further details and pricings on each motherboard will be announced by the company before its launch. To view the list of all gaming motherboards, head over to MSI Gaming.
