Google Pixel Tips: How To Transfer Data From Your Old iPhone To Pixel

So you got yourself Google's Pixel phone -- congratulations! Now, all you need to do next is make sure that all the data from your old iPhone is transferred over to the Pixel. Luckily, Google has made it possible for the transition to be as painless as possible. Plus, you can do it all by yourself; even if you're not at all techie.

Google was kind enough to include a USB-C to USB-A adapter in the box alongside your Pixel phone, which happens to be the easiest and quickest way to transfer data. The search giant made sure that its own smartphone will make an impression at par with its search engine, or what CNET calls, "pure Android at its absolute best." Here's a walkthrough on how to transfer your data from an iPhone to a Pixel phone.

Let's start by powering up your Pixel. Upon turning it on for the first time, tap Let's Go for the setup process to commence. Tap Copy Your Data next, and then tap connect to a trusted Wi-Fi network.

Wait for your Google Pixel to connect to the internet and allow it to check for system updates, which is automatic. Next step, using the USB-C to USB-A adapter and a Lightning cable, connect your old iPhone to your Pixel.

Allow the Pixel to locate your iPhone. Once done, choose which data you want to transfer over. Options will show on the screen. Once you are ready, hit Copy to start the transfer process. This could take a few minutes, but it'll be worth it.

Finally, once your data transfer is complete, hit Next to continue with the setup process. There you have it - you've successfully transferred data to your brand new Google Pixel.

Android users, fret not. A step-by-step guide is available at Android Central. Tell us in the comments below how your data transfer went!
