NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti is coming soon and will be revealed at the 2017 Consumers Electronics Show. The new GPU chipset was said to be a cross between the company's best graphics cards which are the GeForce GTX 1080 and Titan X.

After evaluations, the new hybrid chipset is predicted to outmatch its predecessors because it showed much higher base and gives better clock speed. It was said that the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti will also beat out its AMD chipset rivals because it offers more advance features.

Moreover, while this GPU is also based on GP102 just like the NVIDIA Titan X, it was reported that the upcoming graphic card will be cheaper in comparison. The main reason for this is that the chipset's CUDA (Compute Unified Device Architecture) cores is lower, from 3584 to just 3328.

Nonetheless, the newest graphics card is said to have nice balance so its over-all performance will allow it to achieve its full potential. It is also expected to support the 4K resolutions when it arrives later and this is good news for avid gamers.

At any rate, NVIDIA described the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti as the fastest and most advanced graphics card the company has ever made. It was created based on the new Pascal architecture which makes it powerful.

It sports GPU Model 16nm based on GP102. The chipset offers a memory of 10GB GDDR5X at speed of 10GB per second. Lastly, the memory bandwidth is 400 GB/s while its memory interface width is 384-bit.

While the specs have been listed above, it should be noted that there is a chance for the descriptions to changed because the actual product is not yet available. For an update, PCGames relayed that the GeForce GTX 1080 Ti was not announced at the CES 2017 like what was first reported. Thus, it is still awaiting its official release date.
