'Final Fantasy XV' Guide To 'Liege Of The Lake' Hidden Quest & Catch Legendary Noble Arapaima

"Final Fantasy XV" has quite some good secrets that fans can discover. There are glitches that allow the addition of new party members, as well as hidden quests that can provide extra fun and even create new cutscenes. This time around, it's time to unlock "Liege of the Lake" hidden quest. This enables Noctis a chance at capturing the legendary Noble Arapaima.

"Final Fantasy XV" has been different from its predecessors in various ways. However, one of the changes was fishing. Noctis is rather fond of fishing and instead of his spectral weapons, as noted from the game's official page. The protagonist uses different rods and baits. Apart from these side quests, there are hidden quests that players can perform on their own.

The "Liege of the Lake" is one of these. Activating this quest doesn't really require Noctis to meet Navyth, a fisherman Noctis meets who hands him the quests. Noctis and his companions only need to camp at a certain area to unlock this.

The whole party must camp at Captis Haven. This is located on the East Bank of Vesperpool. Be careful and set the camp at the campsite that is near the road rather than the group of isles.

After camping, a cutscene will happen between Gladio and Noctis the next day. The former will suggest they go fishing.

Now when attempting to catch the Noble Arapaima, "Final Fantasy XV" players should proceed with care. The fish has 1,100,000 stamina points. Of course, this is possible. First off, choose a rod that has a defense of 200 points. There are two rods that can work perfectly: Death Spin rod has 210 defense points and can be bought at Cleigne Region. Tranquility Rod with 290 defense points can also be used. This is acquired after Navyth's "Angler's Nightmare" quest.

Get the rod ready for fishing with either Nereid reel with 270 attack power or perhaps a LLymlaen reel that has 330 points. Apparently, the legendary fish can bite into anything Noctis gives it. But it is a good idea to use 10,000 Needles Gold Cactuar that can be bought at the Coernix Station. Players can also use the Stinker: Great Marlboro. This can be bought at Bert's Bobbers 'n' Stuff with the Death Spin rod.

After the quest, a cutscene will happen between Gladio and Noctis as shown on a Youtube video. But that isn't the only prize: Noctis gets 20 Ability Points and the rare Arapaima Scales. Lastly, Noctis can acquire the rare Big Blaze Bahamat lure.
