Overwatch: Blizzard Update For The New Hero Doomfist

We all know that Blizzard have plan to add new heroes in their popular game Overwatch. But fans are very excited on one certain character, the arrival of Doomfist.

Blizzard will add a playable Doomfist character in the game in the future. And the actor Terry Crews is teased to be the voice of this upcoming Overwatch hero.

Doomfist is not new in the Overwatch game universe, he's been there since the very first cinematic trailer of the game. However, his character is not playable and is somewhat still a mystery.

Mic reported that based on the set of banners in the Numbani 'Overwatch' map, it seems that Doomfist is actually a title that gets passed down from person to person based on who wields the Doomfist gauntlet. There are three individuals that carry the name of Doomfist; the Savior, the Scourge and the Successor.

Blizzard have several options how they will make this new Overwatch hero. Since the title of Doomfist is passed down to whoever wields his gauntlet, it is still possible that new character will make his way to the gauntlet, possess its power and become the new Doomfist.

One is, on the banner of Doomfist in the Numbani Overwatch map, the third Doomfist, the Successor is shrouded in shadow. There is no enough information about this mysterious character, but possibly this Successor will reveal itself as the new playable hero Doomfist.

According to Overwatch Gamepedia, Doomfist was not intended to be a major character during development of the game. However, his name was mentioned in several scenes in the game, like Reaper voice line saying, "Doomfist should do his own dirty work."

No official when this new batch of heroes, including playable Doomfist, will add to the Overwatch game. There's also no confirmation about Terry Crews voicing this big villain character, but this issue is expected to answer sooner this year.
