The iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 5 are both reportedly releasing in a 2017 March event. With this, here is a quick rundown of each tablet's specs and price comparison to give consumers an idea of what to expect and help them decide which Apple tablet suits them well.

Displays

Apparently, the iPad Air 3 will retain the 9.7-inch display from its predecessor that features a 2,048 by 1,536 resolution with 264 ppi. Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 5 is anticipated to come with a smaller Retina display, a 7.9-inch which also supports a 2,048 by 1,536 resolution. Allegedly, the iPad Mini 5 might have a flexible or a foldable display but reports assume that Apple is still experimenting with this technology.

Processors And RAM

The iPad Air 3 is expected to have an A9 processor, an upgrade which is also found in both iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus. The Air 3 processor is then backed by a 3GB RAM.

The iPad Mini 5 will be having the same processor that could offer a speed bump and improved graphics; however, it will be backed by a 4GB RAM. With this, the iPad Mini 5 would be much better than the iPad Air 3 in terms of multitasking purposes.

Cameras

The iPad Air 3 will be available with a possible 13MP primary camera featuring a LED flash and a 6MP secondary camera. Unfortunately, the iPad Mini 5 would apparently feature a weaker primary camera with only 8MP and a 1.2 MP secondary camera.

Batteries

Reports claimed that there isn't enough information about the iPad Air 3's battery but apparently if Apple would slim down the said tablet; it could mean they are going to have a smaller battery with it. However, the iPad Mini 5 is expected to come with a 5124mAh huge battery, making the tablet up and running for approximately 16 hours.

Other Features

Both iPad Air 3 and iPad Mini 5 will feature a fingerprint scanner. Apparently, a Smart Connector would available for iPad Air 3 enabling its users to connect their tablets to accessories like a keyboard, Apple Pen, etc. On the other hand, the iPad Mini 5 would only allegedly support the new Apple Pencil.
