PlayStation VR Headset Restocked, Available For Release February 4
JPThe demand for the PlayStation VR headset may have been higher than what Sony had expected as several online stores have already gone out of stock of the new virtual reality headset. Just a few days after its official release date, the stocks of the highly in demand VR headset from Sony have not been replenished in a number of partner online stores and the only available stocks are now being sold at third party online stores at a higher price.
Though the PlayStation VR headset is currently out of stock on a number of the more popular online stores, news has just broke out that the in demand VR headset will again be available for shipping at Amazon early February. In a news reported by Pure PlayStation, the earliest target release date of the PS VR headset from Amazon is February 4, 2017. The website also reported that, to verify the alleged release date, they tried contacting Amazon using different accounts and that all the three Amazon reps they have talked with gave the same answer.
Though the alleged release of the new stocks for the PlayStation VR may not be ideal, still the news have been met with optimism since avid Sony PlayStation fans don't have to wait longer than 1 month for new stocks. No information has been released yet as to how many units of the PS VR will be restocked and sold at official partner sellers.
In another PlayStation VR headset news, Sony Executive Kaz Hirai has reportedly said that improvements for the PS VR headset is underway. According to Hirai, there is still room for improvements for the already cutting-edge virtual reality headset from Sony. Hirai also stated that these developments for the Sony PlayStation VR headset will not come at a high cost especially since the VR headset is a consumer product for video game players.
