Nokia 6: Nokia's First Android Phone Revealed In A YouTube Video Teaser
Gloven RamosNokia unveils its first ever Android phone, the Nokia 6. One channel on YouTube uploaded a video teasing its feature and specs.
The YouTube channel TechDroider showed off how the Nokia 6 looks. The video is titled "Nokia 6 Unboxing and First Impression." According to BGR, the video was, technically, the second one TechDroider uploaded about the new model. The first video, unfortunately, has lower video quality, so they uploaded another with a better quality.
In the video, we can see the contents of the newly unboxed Nokia 6, which includes the phone, charger, headphones and manuals. Of course, there's a demo of the phone in action; however, it is relatively short doesn't really delve much on the key features of the phone.
The Nokia 6 will feature a 5.5" full HD display with an aluminum body, Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with X6 LTE modem, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. As expected, it has high-resolution cameras of 16MP and 8MP, a stereo speaker and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Nokia Brands is now owned by another company, HMD Global. Nokia 6 is not just the first ever Nokia Android phone, but also the HMD's first phone. Reports said that, for the moment, the company has no plans to release the phone outside China.
However, on a recent Facebook post, HMD said it has plans to share more details about the Nokia 6 by February. This will likely be done the day before Mobile World Congress 2017 kicks off in Barcelona. Many are excited about this phone, wondering what surprises are hidden in Nokia's first ever Android handset.
Nokia 6 reportedly has a cheaper price than the latest similar phone, starting at $250, but only for the Chinese market. Phone Arena says the Nokia 6 is not the beastly flagship phone fans have been dreaming of, but it still has quite a few things to offer -- and it is just the beginning.
