Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will be released between March and April 2017, according to reports. Here are the details alongside the possible specs and features of Huawei P10 and P10 Plus.

Release Date

The Huawei P10 and the Huawei 10 Plus are set to debut in the coming months. This news was straight from Huawei Consumer Business Group's CEO Yu Chengdong. In a report by Android Soul, the CEO shared that Huawei is aiming to launch Huawei P10 and P10 Plus probably between March and April this year. In addition, Chengdong relayed that the Huawei P10 and P10 Plus smartphones will have a flat and curved screen, respectively. No other details was disclosed from the said interview.

With a March or April launch window for the smartphones, it appears that Huawei will not debut the successor of Huawei P9, which is the Huawei P10, at the Mobile World Congress (MWC 2017) in Barcelona next month.

Possible Specs & Features

From the information disclosed by Huawei CEO, it is expected that the Huawei P10 Plus will have a dual-edge curved display like that of Samsung's Galaxy S7 edge, while the P10 will have a flat display. Huawei P10 and P10 Plus are likely to run on octa-core Kirin 960 processor. If this turns out to be true, then Huawei will have an enhanced CPU performance among other smartphones. The Kirin 960, according to tech enthusiasts, performs better than the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821, as well as the Samsung Exynos 8890.

Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will probably launch with 4GB / 6GB of RAM, and QHD 2560 x 1440 displays are highly expected. According to Android Headlines, Leica's lenses will be utilized by Huawei, as the company will place them on top of Huawei P10's camera sensors. Moreover, speculations suggest that the P10 variants will rope in with Amazon's Alexa (digital voice assistant) and will back Google Daydream VR platform.
