Adobe’s Creative Cloud Android Apps Are Now Available For Chromebooks

Now that more Chromebooks model will support Android apps, Adobe will release six free Adobe Creative Cloud apps for Chromebooks. This week, Adobe just announced the release of free Android apps as part of a beta for Chrome OS devices that launches this month.

There are three Chromebook models that currently supports Android apps. For those users who have one of these devices, they can now download the Adobe Creative Cloud apps in the Google Play Store and use it in their computers.

Included in the free apps Adobe is offering are the Photoshop Mix, Photoshop Sketch, Comp CC, Lightroom mobile, Illustrator Draw and Creative Cloud Mobile. According to Laptop Mag, these softwares have some differences compared to a full desktop app, but these are more powerful than the previous apps that have been available on Chromebooks. Also, some of these tools include handy tasks from the desktop versions of the creative apps.

As reported by Engadget, Adobe and Google have been working together on a version of Photoshop that they can introduce to Chromebooks computers. For the users of Adobe's programs, using it in Chromebooks may give them a handier experience. From the flexible features of the Chromebooks, editing and illustrating using Adobe's software become more comfortable for some.

These Adobe Creative Cloud apps are now available on Asus Chromebook Flip, Acer Chromebook R 11 and Google Chromebook Pixel. They are already available on the Google Play Store for download.
