The highly anticipated update to the 3DS application Pokémon Bank has finally arrived. All Pokémon Bank users right now can receive a Z-Crystal for Mew.

Pokémon Bank has experienced major updates and now works with "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon." This update makes it easier to transfer Pokémon from multiple copies of "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon," including the downloadable versions of a single game.

You can also use Pokemon Bank to transfer Pokémon caught in the Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console versions of "Pokémon Red," "Pokémon Blue," and "Pokémon Yellow" into your "Pokémon Sun" or "Pokémon Moon" game. The same applies to Pokémon from "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokémon X," and "Pokémon Y," which can also be transferred into "Pokémon Sun and Moon," in the same way, reported, Serebii.

Free Gift

In addition, all Pokémon Bank subscribers can get a Mewnium Z, the Z-Crystal that only Mew can use. To acquire this, you need to launch the latest Pokemon Bank and receive the gift. It will be a new Wonder Card, which you can find in your "Pokémon Sun and Moon" game. Use the Mystery Gift function to claim Mewnium Z.

This gift is exclusive for "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" players only. You can get only one Mewnium Z, even if you use Pokémon Bank with multiple "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" games. In addition, If you have Pokémon Bank, be sure to use the service by October 2, 2017, to get your Mewnium Z.

Pokémon Bank Notes

If you transfer a Pokémon to Pokémon Bank and then on to "Pokémon Sun and Moon" from "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire," "Pokémon X," or "Pokémon Y," you will not be able to transfer it back to "Pokémon Omega Ruby," "Pokémon Alpha Sapphire, ""Pokémon X," or "Pokémon Y." Moreover, you cannot deposit Pokémon holding items into Pokémon Bank. If you try to deposit a Pokémon with a held item, that item will be sent back to the original game.
