Since its release last year, the GoPro Hero 5 Black has received positive reviews from action camera users. It introduced new specs and features that the public loved.

Aside from being user friendly, the GoPro Hero 5 Black boasts a touchscreen display making it easy to use. The new action camera also has a lot of highlights in terms of features.

1. Waterproof camera

TechRadar  noted that the GoPro Hero 5 Black is waterproof up to 10 meters (33 feet). Unlike previous GoPro releases, this action camera does not anymore need a separate casing when a user wants to use it for water adventures.

Its outside is a black matte material with a rectangular shape bigger than the cube-shaped GoPro Hero Session.

The touchscreen display on the rear part of the camera measures two inches. Another screen is placed on the front of the GoPro Hero 5 Black to view the shooting mode, battery life and the remaining space on the SD card.

2. Voice control

Tech Featured added that one of the best offerings of the GoPro Hero 5 Black is the voice control. Users can simply say voice commands to the camera and it will automatically capture photos or shoot videos even without pressing a button. Voice commands make using the camera easier for a lot of people.

3. Photo and video quality

Aside from these features, CNet said the GoPro Hero 5 Black comes with a 4K video shooting capability. Its 12MP lens can capture RAW photos which are the best copies for editing. The GoPro Hero 5 Black also has a linear view setting to correct distortion of photos taken at wide angles.
