The much-anticipated GoPro Hero 6 is said to come with a spherical design when it launches this year. This is said to give users more options when taking action shots and make photos more flexible for sharing and using in other platforms.

360-degree photos

Value Walk highlighted that a spherical design will allow users to shoot 360-degree photos with the GoPro Hero 6. The same specification can also be applicable for capturing videos using the said device.

With this type of technology, it is not far that GoPro could also introduce virtual reality which will make the competition stiffer for the action camera industry. However, such innovation is already what is called for by the times today especially with the advent of new technologies in photography.

GoPro Hero 6 confirmed for 2017

GoPro CEO Nick Woodman earlier said that the company is planning to unveil the GoPro Hero 6 this year. "There will be new cameras and other accessories released during the year and new camera namely being Hero 6.
