Paste Magazine indicated in a report that the gaming experience offered in "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" Final Chapter Prologue has amused players and gave the satisfaction almost similar to the original "Kingdom Hearts" release which came out about 15 years ago. It brings together two games that will mark the coming of "Kingdom Hearts 3."

It was also noted that this latest "Kingdom Hearts" release offers a "stunning" game design and an overall great playing experience to the public. Some also loved playing Aqua, a character which was introduced in a PSP prequel, because of its seamless play and addictive nature.
