Over the years, fans have seen the release of some of Funko Pop figures of various video games that they have learned to love over the years. The "Kingdom Hearts" series has announced recently that it will release its own Funko Pop figures and keychains based on the characters that have been appearing in the game.

Seven (7) new pop vinyl figures have been unveiled to the public, some of which include Pete (one version of which has him appearing in a Batman-like costume), Donald Duck, Goofy, Mickey Mouse, and Chip and Dale.

Some of the merchandise based on the "Kingdom Hearts" series is reported to be retailer exclusives. For instance, the black-and-white Pete will only be made available at Walmart, Kingdom Goofy at GameStop, and Kingdom Donald at Hot Topic. Other merchandise, however, is to be released indiscriminately nationwide--fans were assured. The release of the game's latest merchandise is scheduled on April this year.

Prior to the release of the "Kingdom Hearts" merchandise, Funko announced that it is set to release Pop keychains which feature Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, and Goofy among several other characters. The release of such keychains is scheduled on March this year.

"Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue," the latest incarnation of the game series, has already been released recently for PlayStation 4. For fans who wish to try it out, various reviews of the said game are available online.

Fans have been looking forward to the release of the latest "Kingdom Hearts" merchandise. Having a piece of said merchandise allows fans and gamers alike to have a piece of their favorite game even outside the realm of the game's universe. It allows them to enjoy a semblance of the game, which they have learned to love, even in the real world. For now, fans can wait for the release of the merchandise with optimistic anticipation.
