Head of Microsoft, Phil Spencer, stated that people should wait before pre-ordering the Xbox Scorpio. This was his reply when answering questions through Twitter from the community when asked about the pre-order situation according to Wccftech.

The Xbox Scorpio is expected to be released at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in June 2017. Although, no games have been shown running on the latest console up to this time, Microsoft might use the upcoming expo to do the same.

Spencer did however, mention that he recently had his first play session on the console and was very delightful with the experience. He added that bringing up full games early for the new console will allow developers to fine tune their games for the best results possible.

The company promises a native 4K gaming with no compromises on the console. Although the complete specs of the unit are undisclosed, Microsoft did mention that the new console will have an eight-core CPU, 320GB of memory and six teraflops of GPU power.

Moreover, Spencer announced that the much awaited "Phantom Dust" remake for Xbox and PC will be released before the E3 2017. It's a collectible card game with action RPG which will feature improved Xbox Live support and improved graphics. Shannon Loftis, Microsoft's general manager of Microsoft Studios Global Publishing, stated that they are using original assets from the game released by Microsoft Japan back in 2013. She added that they are updating key parts of the assets with modern Xbox Live.
