The game franchise "Final Fantasy" is celebrating its 30th anniversary in December this year. Despite the event being months away, Square Enix has decided to set out its plans for the franchise's birthday, starting with a banner. Apart from that, different news and announcements will be made regarding the titles in the series.

For the banner, Square Enix chose a simple design, with the series' iconic Chocobos and a lone Moogle on what seemed like crystal. "Final Fantasy 30th Anniversary" is then written across the picture, in typical "Final Fantasy" style. A "Since 1987" was also placed on the banner. According to RPG Site, it was created by Yoshitaka Amano.

For the game announcements, there will be news about "Final Fantasy XV," "Final Fantasy XII HD," "Final Fantasy XIV" and "Final Fantasy VII Remake." "Final Fantasy XV," the latest offering and title from Square Enix, will have a booster pack DLC coming in February 21. This includes superhero-themed costumes for the four heroes.

The Gladiolus episode will also come in March 28 and the Prompto episode in June, according to Gematsu. Square Enix also reminded fans that "Final Fantasy XIV Stormblood" will be out June 20.

"Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age," on the other hand, will be available in HD. This will come July 11. Japan and the rest of Asia will see it available in June 13. "FFXII's" Balthier will also be available as a DLC Champion Summon on "World of Final Fantasy."

The much awaited "Final Fantasy VII Remake" is also still in development. However, there isn't much news about it. Square Enix simply released a new key artwork featuring the game's protagonist and main antagonist: Cloud and a one-winged Sephiroth.

As regards mobile "Final Fantasy" games, Cloud Strife of "FFVII" will apparently join "Final Fantasy Brave Exvius" in February 6. Also, Yoshitaka Amano has reportedly created a special campaign for the mobile version to celebrate the franchise's 30th birthday.

Japan will also be experiencing "Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omina" in February 1. Aerith will make an appearance and will be voiced by famous voice actress and singer Maaya Sakamoto. Another "FFVII" character, Sephiroth, will be joining "Mobius Final Fantasy" soon.
