The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 and iPhone 8 might be the most anticipated smartphones of 2017. Samsung is ready to unveil its flagship at an event in March 29, while Apple still has until September for the company to reveal its latest device. However, a few speculated things about the former that would make it better than Apple's flagship as reported by Mobipicker.

For one thing, the inclusion of a microSD card slot on the Galaxy S8 would be its first advantage as none of the iPhone models ever sported such a feature. It's always good to know to have this option most importantly when you decide to put movies in your device that would eat a lot of GB. The Galaxy S8 is supposedly able to support 2 TB of external storage.

Another exclusive feature for Samsung's device is the Iris scanner which will make your private data extra secure on top of the fingerprint scanner. There is a possibility that the iPhone 8 would have this feature, although it's highly unlikely.

The Galaxy S8 is also rumored to have a Desktop Mode which would allow the device to be hooked to a monitor and peripherals and used as a classic desktop PC. Meanwhile, the Best Mode feature of the Galaxy S8 will offer additional power for its users by making the processor and graphics chip clock higher than usual.

Lastly, the most controversial feature that angered a lot of Apple fans is the 3.5 mm audio jack. Samsung have decided to keep this feature perhaps to avoid the same negative reactions from its followers. Samsung is expected to promote this feature the best that they possibly can.

What do you think of these features of the Galaxy S8? Do you think it's enough to top Apple's iPhone 8? Write and share your thoughts on the comments section down below.
