Earlier players were able to use the "World of Warcraft" tokens only to extend their game time without paying the subscription fee or use to buy some in-game content. Blizzard has now increased the scope of using the WoW tokens for the purchase of content or products for its other games as well.

The price of the WoW Tokens keeps fluctuating in the in-game market of WoW. It is notable that the price has doubled up since the time of publishing.
