Many people are wondering what has happened to Apple's iPad devices. In recent years, the device's sales have been declining at an alarming rate. The Mac, on the other hand, is generating more revenue and a lot more stable than the iPad. However, according to a report by Mac World, there is something to look forward to in the iPad's future.

It is believed that the iPad, or similar to an iPad, will be the future device for users' computing needs and it won't be the Mac. Also, be sure to watch the video below for 10 useful tips and tricks for your iPad Pro.

The future computing devices will be a touch screen if you were to base your prediction in today's technology. The Mac is a very powerful machine and would be a lot more in years to come. However, it still uses a keyboard-and-trackpad system that was a designed from the 1980's compared to the touch screen capabilities of the iPad.

Some would say that the smartphones will be the future of computing devices. Although, the one thing that would make that prediction highly implausible is the size itself, the smartphone is too small. It's designed to fit in peoples' pockets. Five to six inches of diagonal screen will not be enough for users who needs to get their jobs done. They may need 10 to 30 inches of screen display and smartphones won't be able to meet those sizes.

The most practical device is the iPad. Apple just needs to up its game and provide better peripheral support, more sophisticated windowing and multi-tasking, better support for application and automation and improvements to file handling, just to name a few.

If Apple somehow is able to accomplish all of these things, the iPad of today could very well be the computer machine of tomorrow.
