"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" will be arriving in retail stores through a new special Season Pass disc. The game will be available starting February 28.

Telltale Games announced that "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" disc version will be accessible for both the Xbox One and the PlayStation 4. It will include the two-part premiere episodes,  titled "Ties That Bind: Part One" and "Ties That Bind: Part Two."

The Season Pass Disc will at the same time give the buyer download access to all the future episodes in the "The Walking Dead: A New Frontier." All subsequent additions to the story will be available for free. Playstation Lifestyle notes that Telltale also revealed that "Episode 3: Above the Law" will be released in late March 2017. More information about the game's third episode will be shared soon.

"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" is a new beginning for players new to the series and not acquainted with Clementine. It is also a continuation for players who have experienced "Ties That Bind: Part One" and "Ties That Bind: Part Two." Players who are new to the series can start a story that is designed to this new beginning.

Continuing players from prior seasons have several options for quickly configuring their tailored backstory. They can also import past save files from different platforms.

"The Walking Dead: A New Frontier" centers on the story of Javier. The game is set in a time years after undead hands ripped society apart and pockets of civilization arise from the chaos, according to Cog News. As Javier, a young man determined to protect his family, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own loss. Her name is Clementine.
