‘Stranger Things’ Season 2 Plot, Photos Revealed; Where’s Eleven? There’s Trauma, Mourning, New Kids In Town
Kate Wales"Stranger Things" Season 2 plot details are out and the hefty information about the story will surely make fans more excited to see the series. There's nothing stated about Eleven though and she's not featured in any of the new photos revealed from the set of the show.
As per "Stranger Things" creator Matt Duffer, Joyce Bryer is focusing on how to make the lives of his son Will and Jonathan stable after last year's incident. This may be the reason why she started dating her former high school classmate named Bob who could be a good father figure to his sons as pointed out by Duffer in a report from Entertainment Weekly.
Will, however, is not all good after leaving the Upside Down. He is said to have visions from the dark dimension and he cannot figure out whether they are real or not.
He may be suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder but based on the slug he coughed up from the season finale, it could be possible that Will is still haunted by the Upside Down. However, Will is not the only one still haunted by the past.
His friend Mike and the latter's sister Nancy are still mourning the loss of Eleven and Barb. According to "Stranger Things" co-creator Ross Duffer, the siblings are the ones who are most affected by last season's happenings because they lost important people in their lives.
Meanwhile, two new siblings are making an appearance in Hawkins, one of which is speculated to be a villainous kid. Billy and Max will cross path with Will and friends but Billy won't be so friendly at all.
But where's Eleven and what happened to her? In the recent photos from the set of "Stranger Things" Season 2 from a report by Variety, Will was pictured with his friends as well as Jonathan and Nancy. Joyce and Chief Hopper appeared in the photos too but Eleven is nowhere to be found.
It doesn't mean, however, that Eleven is no longer part of the sequel. She is a special part of the series and it's possible that her comeback is a surprise that would keep fans hype throughout the run of the hit Netflix thriller.
"Stranger Things" Season 2 air date is on Oct. 31. In the meantime, check out the trailer below.
