'Titanfall 2' Live Fire Update Patch Notes Now Out; Still No Release Date For The Update

Respawn has finally released the patch notes for "Titanfall 2" Live Fire Update. However, the developer until now has not yet released the much-awaited update for the game.

The Live Fire update was previously announced to be released in February. However, at present, community manager Jay Frechette, in Respawn's patch notes post could not confirm the release date. He said that the "Titanfall 2" Live Fire update still need to go through the certification process. He added that an announcement would be made when Respawn is 100 percent confident in the date. New Game Features

When Titanfall 2" Live Fire Update is released, there will be new game features. Among them is Mixtape Matchmaking. It will be a complete overhaul of the game's multiplayer matchmaking, as this will enable you to create your own mixtape of modes. In addition, Custom Button mapping will be added to the game, where both Pilot and Titan settings can be mapped.

Moreover, new ambient environmental sound effects will be introduced to bring the livefire maps to life. There will be a fusion of virtual reality and natural forest ambiances called Meadow while a fusion of virtual and industrial sounds is called Stacks.

Game Improvements

"Titanfall 2" Live Fire Update will give the holo pilot decoy a shakeup to make it a more practical Tactical ability. With the update, it can now be deployed on ziplines and will be more resilient when deployed in the middle of a wallrun and when colliding with walls at specific angles. It will as well appear in an enemy's sonar grenade or threat scope.

Titan Balance

Titanfall 2" Live Fire Update also bring some to the titans including Tone. Tone's Salvo Core damage is reduced, however, its damage falloff will be completely removed. Aside from that, the Sonar Pulse's cooldown is increased while the projectile size of the 40mm Tracker Cannon is decreased. There are also changes for Northstar, Ronin, Scorch, and Ion, reported PC Gamer.
