'Yuri On Ice' Talk Show & All Night Screening Event Possibly A Hint For 'YOI' Season 2

The "Yuri On Ice" talk show and all night screening could have possibly hinted the second season of the most loved and highly anticipated anime. Fans anticipate the Season 2 announcement during Anime Fest in Dallas.

All Night Screening and Talk Show

The recently concluded "Yuri On Ice" talk show and all night screening has been graced by fans with a record-breaking sold out tickets. The event held last February 11 started at 10 in the evening and ended on the following day at around 4 a.m..

The event also highlighted the most recent visual art that the series has revealed after "Yuri on Ice" season 1 ended. The visual art showed all the 12 figure skaters that we met in the anime's first season run. Allegedly, this is an indication that all of the characters in the previous season will still be there on "Yuri on Ice season 2."

Another speculation that emerges from the recently concluded Yuri On Ice" talk show and all night screening is the photo showing Phichit Chunaont holding a monopod and taking a group shot. It is very noticeable that the trio Yuri Katsuki, Yuri Pisetsky, and Viktor Nikiforov is strategically placed beside the Thailand skater. We can also see in the photo that almost everyone is sporting the peace sign hand gesture, which according to speculations is most likely another clue that the characters are saying to see the fans on Season 2 or possibly that the second season is nearly approaching.

Moreover, the title of the "Yuri On Ice" talk show and all night screening in Japan when translated into English is, "I will slide still more! "Yuri !!! on ICE" Talk Show & All Night Screening." It is a total giveaway telling fans that there is indeed a Season 2 coming, and soon.

AnimeFest

On February 21, the Dallas anime convention, AnimeFest announced that it would host director Sayo Yamamoto, co-creator Mitsurou Kubo, and character designer and animation director Tadashi Hiramatsu from the "Yuri on Ice" television anime. The AnimeFest 2017 will be held at the Sheraton Dallas Hotel from August 17-20. Fans, after no announcement was made during the "Yuri On Ice" talk show and all night screening, is anticipating and hoping that this time the team would reveal even just the release date for "Yuri on Ice" Season 2.
