Electronic Arts Inc. announced that EA SPORTS' FIFA 13 demo has been downloaded 1.99 million times in 73 countries around the world on PlayStation, Xbox 360, and PC since its launch on Sept. 11.

"This is a 29 percent increase compared to the first three days after the FIFA 12 demo last year. Two weeks from launch, fans around the world have pre-ordered over 875,000* copies of FIFA 13-up 37 percent year over year in Europe and a 62 percent increase year over year in North America," reports FootballFanCast
Popular teams like Manchester City and Arsenal feature in the demo version, along with Juventus, AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund. The demo version also includes EA SPORTS Football Club Match Day. This feature links the news of the real world with the video game for the first time. The demo will also include real-world drama such as injuries, suspensions, and media gossip for the teams.
Electronic Arts has confirmed that FIFA 13's release date is Sept. 25 in the U.S., Sept. 27 in Europe, and Sept. 28 in the UK. However, EA Sports Season Ticket subscribers can get early digital access to the game on Sept. 21 in the U.S. and Sept. 22 in Europe.
The full version of FIFA 13 has not been released yet, but GamesMaster Magazine has already given a 91/100 rating to the game. E3 Game Critics have already chosen FIFA 13 as the Best Sports Game for 2012.
