Research in Motion (RIM) desperately needs a winner in BlackBerry 10. However, a music video might not be the best way to go about it, but then again, it's humorous. The company let loose the music video on YouTube professing its love for developers, while asking them to be patient as BlackBerry 10 will be out very soon.
After watching the video a few times over, it has become very catchy to the point where the song is beginning to sound good. Still, RIM won't win any awards for this performance, and for its sake, hopefully developers feel the same way about calling the BlackBerry maker "baby."
BlackBerry 10 is the next version of Research in Motion popular BlackBerry smartphone platform. The company is putting all its bets on this one platform to bring it out of the slumber that has been holding RIM back for the past couple of years. RIM will have to contend with Windows 8 and Nokia if it wants to be the third ecosystem, and that is not going to be an easy task.
