The imbalance of demand and supply of Nintendo Switch and NES Classic Edition brought clamor on the gaming world. The issue on restocking of these game consoles may not be only faced by the players but also the online and brick-and-mortar retailers.

Behind this issue, gamers lauded Nintendo for coming up with a sleek design, portable yet quite powerful gaming system, which is where the company's popularity came from. Many games are in store for Nintendo Switch. Having Ubisoft on board, games like "Minecraft: Story Mode" is lined up, says Express. Gamers concern pointed out on higher sticker price, which is $10 higher than on PS4, Xbox One, and Wii U.

Due to the exceptional demand on Nintendo Switch and NES classic Edition, industry experts perceived that the reason for this is the attractive pricing but this logic does not apply for NES Classic Edition. Switch's MSRP is $299.99. Nintendo and retailers offer a variety of attractive deals in selling this product. While NES Classic Edition is a lot cheaper, costing $59.99 only but it is not an easy buy.

The shortage of supply of NES Classic Edition in the market turns gamers in buying the Switch. Though an expensive alternative, it can be considered a viable and powerful option. The popularity of Nintendo Switch is mainly attributed to the portability it offers, a hybrid game console that is equally providing amazing gaming experience as what stationary consoles provide.

In the midst of the supply and demand imbalance, retailers such as Best Buy and other gaming stores see to it that their customers are not sent back empty handed. Best Buy even assured gamers that Nintendo Switch and NES Classic Edition will be available online. Reports revealed, however, that within minutes, all units were brought while the sale is ongoing.

Nintendo Wire reported that restocking of NES Classic Edition would be available online at Best Buy. In their official twitter account, Best Buy announced that their stocks will only be in limited quantities.
