Samsung is getting back into business after strong pre-order sales for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. According to the company, the new line-up is outperforming the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus' sales. The Korean company also added that pre-orders are up by at least 10% compared to last year.

The revelation gives Samsung a breather after suffering one of its worst years in 2016. The infamous Note 7 mishap has cost the company a lot of money, including trust from smartphone users.

Analysts back then speculated that Samsung will have trouble marketing its future smartphones. Most especially with the Note Brand and the successor to the Galaxy S7 and S7 Plus devices.

Luckily last year's fiasco has not discouraged Samsung loyalists. As it shows, pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus is trending to break the company's expectations. Surprisingly, the company would still push through with the Note brand.

Android Headlines have their own take on why pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 is breaking the charts. Accordingly, "Note 7 owners needed a replacement smartphone after Samsung recalled the units."

Loyal Samsung users still opted to invest for the Galaxy S8 regardless of what happened with the Note 7. The amount of Note 7 users looking to buy a new phone left a large vacuum of demand. This resulted in an increased number of people opting to buy Samsung's S8 and S8 Plus units.

To the surprise of Samsung, It seems that customers aren't worried about what happened to the Note 7. Given the amount pre-orders for the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, the Korean company is on its way for a comeback.

According to TechRadar, Samsung lost $5.4 billion dollars last year due to the overheating Note 7. The South Korean-based company is hoping to patch things up with the strong sales of the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus.

The Galaxy S8 features a 5.8-inch display powered by a Qualcomm 835 SoC in the U.S. and the Exynos 8895 chip in other markets. The phone has 4GB of RAM and at least 64GB of storage. The only difference between the S8 and S8 Plus is their display.

The Galaxy S8 Plus has a bigger 6.2-inch display screen. Stay tuned for updates.
