Apple seems all set for its much-awaited Oct.23 event taking place at the California Theater. The technology giant has now decorated the venue with its logo in vibrant colors with the theater's main entrance saying "Apple Special Event."
On Oct. 16, Apple sent out invitations for its special event on Oct. 23 and the invitation featured the top of the Apple logo in white color with a number of other colors around and over the Logo. The invitation reads "We've got a little more to show you."
Apple has not revealed about the products that the company will launch at the event, but rumors indicate that the highly-anticipated 7.85-inch iPad Mini, 13-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display, and a Mac Mini will be unveiled at the event.
Apple has not used this venue for around seven years for a media event. The company used the California Theater when Steve Jobs announced the first video iPod and TV shows in the iTunes Store. The media event is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 23 at 10:00am PT.
The decorations at the event seem subtle where the company has utilized the poster frames that sit on the walls outside the theater. However, the Apple posters are in vibrant colors which may give an indication that Apple will launch a colorful iDevice at the event. Previously, on Sept. 12, Apple launched the iPod Touch in various colors. Rumors have indicated that the company may launch the iPad Mini in various different hues. iFans will have to wait and see if the colorful Apple invitation and the event decoration bears any relation to any iDevice being launched at the event.
Apple has planned the event nearly a month after the iPhone 5 launch in September this year. The event is scheduled three days before Microsoft Surface tablet's release and a day before Amazon's Kindle Fire tablet launches in the UK.
