Android fans have some good news in the beginning of the year headed their way. Per reports, it seems like the highly popular Nexus 10 has returned to the Google Play Store.

Google has had a tough time keeping its Nexus products in stock, but the new information will certainly come as good news for most fans who had the opportunity to save up for a Nexus 10 this Christmas.

As reported, the company's ASUS-built Nexus 10 tablet is back in stock in the Google Play store. The 16GB and 32GB (both Wi-Fi) options are available for $399 and $499, respectively, and Google says that both the models will ship in less than one week.

The last time Google came up with such a decision was when the company did the same thing with the Nexus 4. At that time, per a Pocketnow report, "the fun lasted for around eight minutes (and I'm not forgetting digits there), we hope this story doesn't repeat itself with the Nexus 10."

"You seriously just never know when it comes to Google's ability to meet demand when it comes to their new Nexus line-up. The Nexus 4 is hit-or-miss when it comes to trying to buy one on Google's Play Store, and the same story proved true with the Nexus 10 for a while."

For those who are still unaware of the Nexus 10's features and specifications, the device sports a 10.055-inch display with a 2560 x 1600-pixel resolution and is powered by a dual-core Exynos 5 processor. It also features a 5-megapixel camera, a 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera for video chat, 2GB of RAM and microHDMI-out. Needless to say, the Nexus 10 runs on Google's latest mobile operating system, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.

"Sadly there's no telling just when they'll actually ship, nor do we have any details when the exciting $299 Nexus 4 smartphone will make an entrance into the scene again. Users have been patiently awaiting its arrival since going out of stock, and we've received zero updates on future availability," an Android Community report states.

Fans and users can get their hands on a Nexus 10 by heading over to the Google Play Store.
