Google has some great news for all those who are looking to own a brand new Nexus 7.
Per reports, the popular Nexus 7 (from T-Mobile) is up for sale in the Google Play Store for $299. The device is currently being retailed at the store with the T-Mobile 4G service and a T-Mobile SIM card.
This is a major development to the information related to the availability of the Nexus 7 after T-Mobile announced it will be expanding distribution of Google's handset to its entire retail chain.
"There was much rejoicing when Google finally offered a HSPA+ option for its popular Nexus 7 tablet. The only minor concern was that AT&T was the only carrier listed as the device came with an AT&T SIM card. There are other HSPA+ networks in this country, but they never got a page on the Google Play store until now," a WebProNews report states.
T-Mobile stated that all stores should have stock up "in the coming weeks." Moreover, users will be able to buy the device from its website beginning Jan. 23, with prices remaining the same at $199 on-contract and $499 fully unsubsidized.
Google added a new page for the Nexus 7, pairing the HSPA+ version with T-Mobile. It's the same 32GB unlocked version with the difference being that the device comes with a T-Mobile SIM. "In all reality, it's not that big of a deal since SIM cards are so cheap these days. It's just removes one more annoyance for T-Mobile subscribers who want to add a Nexus 7 to their network without having to order a new SIM card," the report added.
TechnoBuffalo writes: "We had pondered whether or not LG was the right choice for Google as a manufacturer of the Nexus 4, especially since supplies have been so limited, but it seems like the kinks are being worked out now that T-Mobile is expanding the number out outlets consumers can buy the device from."
The popular Nexus 7 comes with an amazing 7-inch display and all day battery life. With up to 32GB of storage and the option to add mobile data, users can carry even more of their favorite content from Google Play.
The device, per the official page, offers "over nine hours of HD video playback, 10 hours of Web browsing or e-reading, and up to 300 hours of standby time."
