The once elusive LG-made Nexus 4 smartphone from Google is finally back in stock at the Canadian Google Play Store. Fans of the 4.7-inch smartphone can finally lay their hands on the device, without dishing out extra dough to third-party retailers.
The Nexus 4 was back in stock at the Canadian Google Play Store on Jan. 29, close on the heels of the smartphone staging its return to the U.S. Play Store as well.
The Canadian Google Play store has both the 8GB and 16GB versions of the Nexus 4 in stock, and indicates that the smartphone will ship out in one to two weeks. The price of the smartphones remains unchanged at $309 and $359 for the 8GB and 16GB versions, respectively.
"After much delay the Google Nexus 4 is back in stock at Google Play. Same prices: 8GB version is $309 and the 16GB version is $359. Google currently says it ships within "1 - 2 weeks," noted Mobile Syrup.
Canadian customers can now purchase the Nexus 4 at the reasonable price, instead of paying hefty premium to third-party retailers. Recently, Quebec-based Videotron began offering the Nexus 4 for $149.95 on contract, whereas the unlocked version is priced at a steep $499.95 (16GB).
With Google and LG sticking to their promise of resolving inventory issues, Nexus 4 fans can finally heave a sigh of relief and get their hands on the much-awaited smartphone.
