Samsung has been busy working on a slew of mid- and low-range Android devices and it was reported that eight of them are ready to hit the shelves very soon, possibly at the Mobile World Congress (MWC). Confirming the reports, six unannounced Samsung devices have made it to the GLBenchmark's database.
Galaxy Fonblet 5.8, Galaxy Pocket 2, Galaxy Star, Galaxy Young, Galaxy Frame and another device with serial name GT-B9150 have appeared on the GLBenchmark, Sam Mobile reported. The benchmark also confirms some of the core specifications about the devices. The next generation Galaxy Tab, the Galaxy Tab 3 GT-P3200, had appeared in the benchmark servers as recently as yesterday.
Going to the detail about the devices, Galaxy Fonblet 5.8 comes in two versions with serial numbers GT-I9150 and GT-I9152. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and features a Broadcom BCM28155 CPU clocked at 1.2GHz, VideoCore IV GPU and comes with a qHD (960 x 540) Display. The Galaxy Pocket 2, a low-end Samsung smartphone, also features a Broadcom CPU clocked at 850MHz and comes with a VideoCore IV GPU and a VGA (320×240) Display. The device runs on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box and comes in two model number - GT-S5310 and GT-S5312.
Another low-end device from Samsung, Galaxy Star (GT-S5282) comes with a Spreadtrum CPU, Mali-300 GPU, a VGA (320×240) display and is powered by Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean. Galaxy Young (GT-S6310/GT-S6312) that was initially tested with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, packs a 1GHz Qualcomm 7×27 CPU, Adreno 200 GPU and a HVGA (480×320) Display. Samsung later decided to power the device with Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean on-board.
Detailing the specifications of Galaxy Frame (GT-S6810/GT-S6810P), the benchmark notes that the device will come with a Broadcom 1GHz CPU and a VideoCore IV GPU. Running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean out of the box, the device will have a HVGA (480×320) display. It comes in two versions, one with NFC (GT-S6810P) and one without NFC (GT-S6810).
GT-B9150, which was earlier rumored to be Samsung Galaxy Q slider, also visited the GLBenchmark and it has received an update to the new Samsung Exynos 5 dual-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz. The device will feature a Quad-Core Mali-T604 GPU and a Full HD (1920×1080) Display. The Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean powered device features a model number that Samsung usually uses for their QWERTY devices (GT-Bxxxx series). However, the many specifications are identical to a high-end tablet.
