When BlackBerry announced the Z10, it made the device available the following day for customers in the UK, followed by Canada a few days letter, but has only given a mid-March time frame for a U.S. release.
AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile have all committed to carrying the device in the U.S. None of them will be the first U.S. carrier to offer the Z10, as Solavei, a MVNO (mobile virtual network operator) in the U.S., is now offering the Z10 for $999. If you have money to burn and want to be the first one on your block with the BlackBerry Z10, Solavei has got you covered.
Solavei is teaming up with its retail partner GSM Nation to bring the BlackBerry Z10 to its U.S. customers. The Z10 will be unsubsidized for that $999 price tag. Solavei uses T-Mobile's network in the U.S., which offers GSM / EDGE / UMTS / HSPA+ network and offers unlimited voice, SMS and data for $49 a month, contract-free.
The BlackBerry Z10 features BlackBerry 10, 4.2-inch screen, 1280 x 768 resolution 355ppi (pixels per inch), 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, Adreno 225 GPU, 16GB internal storage, 2GB of RAM, 8-megapixel rear camera, 2-megapixel front camera, 802.11 a/b/g/n and a removable 1,800mAh battery.
If being able to rock a Z10 in the U.S. before any of the big carriers get the device in mid-March appeals to you and you don't mind spending $999 for those bragging rights, hop on over to Solavei.
